BPC Powder coating

A finely ground powder, electrostatically applied, baked into colour that lasts.

Powder coating forms a finish that is harder than paint, far more durable, and stays looking right for years longer than a wet coat. We coat almost anything in metal, indoor or outdoor.

A.01, the process

Powder, voltage, heat.

The powder is held at one charge, the part at another. The two attract, the powder lands evenly across every face, and the part goes into the oven. At cure temperature the powder melts, flows, cross links, then sets as a single hard film.

We use top of the line guns, high quality powders, and we test every job during application and again after cure. The result is a finish that does not chip, does not flake, and does not need touching up the year after.

When the standard finish is not enough.

SP, 01

Zincshield

A zinc rich first coat that bonds to the substrate before the colour layer goes on. Recommended in place of galvanising on outdoor parts that will see salt air, harsh weather or chemicals. Adds substantial corrosion life without the dunk and dip cost of hot dip galvanising.

SP, 02

Anti graffiti

A specialist top layer that lets paint markers, aerosols and tags lift off with a wipe and a solvent, while the colour beneath stays untouched. Used on bins, street furniture, signs and anywhere the council comes back with a cleaning crew.

SP, 03

High temperature

For exhaust components, BBQ parts and any surface that lives near a flame. Specified powders that hold their colour and adhesion past the points where standard polyester gives up.

A.04, capacity

An eight metre oven says yes.

Big enough to swallow a balustrade run, a workshop bench, a gate, or a stack of trailer chassis. Small enough that single bracket jobs do not get lost in a pile.
